Human rights at the alanta health group

The alanta health group is a healthcare company that assumes responsibility. Our business activities range from the pharmaceutical production of patient-specific parenteral infusion solutions and the care of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings to the development of medical software solutions and IT services. In addition, we are active in pharmaceutical wholesale and HealthCare logistics. In all of this, people are at the center of everything we do.

We are convinced that sustainable and responsible business conduct is inseparably linked to respect for human rights. For this reason, we are committed across the group to protecting human rights and assume responsibility for our actions both in our own business area and along our supply chains.

Our Policy Statement on Respect for Human Rights sets out this understanding in concrete terms.

Our responsibility under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act

The alanta health group complies with the legal requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. This includes, in particular, the identification and assessment of human rights and environmental risks, the implementation of appropriate preventive and remedial measures, and the continuous review of their effectiveness.

Our due diligence obligations apply both to our own business activities and to our direct suppliers. Given the diversity of our services and products, we place particular emphasis on transparent, reliable and long-term partnerships.

Grievance mechanism and whistleblowing system

A central element of our human rights due diligence is a group-wide internal whistleblowing system. Employees can use this system to report human rights or environmental risks, or possible violations in connection with the alanta health group or a company belonging to the group.

External persons may also submit corresponding reports by email to the Human Rights Officer of the alanta health group.

Each report is carefully reviewed. If an initial suspicion is confirmed, we initiate appropriate measures to minimize risks or end violations.

Reports are treated confidentially. We do not tolerate reprisals against persons submitting reports who act to the best of their knowledge and belief.
